The 812 GTS marks the return of a legendary layout: a front mounted V12 and nothing above your head. The naturally aspirated 6.5 litre twelve cylinder delivers 800 hp and revs devastatingly up to 8900 rpm. At the touch of a button the hardtop disappears under the rear deck in fourteen seconds. Even with the roof closed you can lower the rear window independently to enjoy the exhaust to the max. Despite the extra reinforcements the GTS steers almost as sharply and aggressively as the closed Superfast.

Nice detail: this is the first series production V12 spider from Ferrari since the 365 GTS/4 'Daytona' exactly fifty years ago.

De atmosferische 6,5 liter twaalfcilinder levert 800 pk en haalt verwoestend uit tot 8900 toeren. Met een druk op de knop verdwijnt de hardtop in veertien seconden onder de achterklep. Zelfs met het dak dicht kun je de achterruit apart laten zakken om maximaal te genieten van de uitlaat. Ondanks de extra verstevigingen stuurt de GTS bijna net zo scherp en agressief als de dichte Superfast.

Leuk detail: dit is de eerste in serie geproduceerde V12 spider van Ferrari sinds de 365 GTS/4 'Daytona' van precies vijftig jaar geleden.

Le douze cylindres atmosphérique de 6,5 litres développe 800 ch et grimpe de manière dévastatrice jusqu'à 8900 tr/min. D'une simple pression sur un bouton le toit rigide disparaît sous le capot arrière en quatorze secondes. Même toit fermé vous pouvez baisser la lunette arrière indépendamment pour profiter au maximum de l'échappement. Malgré les renforts supplémentaires la GTS se dirige presque aussi précisément et agressivement que la Superfast fermée.

Détail intéressant : c'est la première spider V12 de série produite par Ferrari depuis la 365 GTS/4 'Daytona' il y a exactement cinquante ans.
